• WATER SOFTENING SYSTEMS
Certain substances contained in the water have a negative effect not only on the human organism but also on the household appliances and the sanitary equipment. A number of chemical elements dissolved in the water such as magnesium and calcium lead to increase of the water hardness and limescale occurrence, which is deposited on the metal pipelines, water heating appliances, industrial equipment and decreases their operational life and increases considerably the energy consumption by 30 – 40%.
The water softening process is an exchange of calcium and magnesium ions determining the water hardness with sodium ions. The process depends on ion-exchange resin contained in the softener through which the water runs. When the ion-exchange resin’s capacity is exhausted it is regenerated with a salt solution – NaCl. The regeneration frequency depends on the hardness and the quantity of water which has passed through the softener. When selecting water softeners the following factors should be taken into consideration:
- the water hardness;
- the output (m3/h);
- the time necessary for the resin regeneration;
The possibilities for control are as follows:
- by time (recommended for even water consumption);
- by volume (recommended for uneven water consumption);
The systems are manufactured from:
- A fibreglass body;
- An ion-exchange resin with a resource life of up to 10 years;
- A container with an increased anti-shock resistance;
- A softener control unit (head) carrying out all the water softening and regeneration processes.
- The head is equipped with an incorporated injector dosing the salt solution during the regeneration process;
- An appliance installed in the filter head which contributes to feeding with water also during the process of regeneration.
- the duration of the regeneration process is up to 180 min.
Remarks:
Water should be purified in advance from mechanical impurities and the availability of iron prior engaging the water softening process. Otherwise the ion-exchange capacity of the resin will be reduced

• REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEMS
Reverse osmosis is a process of removing particles and substances dissolved from the water. The main element of these systems is a thin-film polyamide membrane (ТFС) equipped with filters for preliminary treatment that are manufactured from: 1) polypropylene fibres, and 2) activated carbon.

This is a highly effective system which removes organic compounds, heavy metals and also bacteria and viruses from the water. The reverse osmosis system needs no regeneration. The normal operation of the reverse osmosis systems depends on the quality of the water fed to the systems. Our specialists will help you to select the most suitable reverse osmosis system for you.
Unlike the ordinary water purification methods the reverse osmosis system separates the input water in two streams: purified water (pre-amt) and waste water. The waste water contains only impurities which were available in the water prior the purification process.

• ACTIVATED CARBON FILTERS
The filters of this series contain special fine-grained activated carbon manufactured from the bark of a coconut tree with increased absorbing capacity. The filters remove effectively complex chlorine containing chemical compounds, improve the water taste and fragrance and remove also the organic compounds, pesticides and other chemical compounds.

The filters are mostly used before the other filtering systems and also for protecting the household appliances, the industrial systems and the heating systems.
The filters of the series AS-C-15M, 25M and 25А contain the KDF55 element, which consists of an alloy of copper and zinc and which has:
A bacteriostatic action – KDF55 produces a uniform electrical field where bacteria can not reproduce;
A bactericidal action – the copper reacts with one of the ferments necessary for the reproduction process as result of which bacteria die.
Thanks to KDF 55 a number of oxidizing reactions occur, which reduce the concentration of chemical elements such as iron, lead, cadmium, arsenic and etc.
The filter is suitable for water purification from chlorine and hydrogen sulphide.
• SAND FILTERS
An automated system with different fractions of quartz sand with time control.
The filter retains rust, mud, sand particles and other mechanical admixtures. The system is programmed to be washed out at certain periods of time. The time period between two washes depends on the quality of the input water.
• IRON AND MANGANESE REMOVAL SYSTEMS
The Iron and Manganese Removal Systems of the AS-IR 50-120 series operate on the principle of oxidation of the iron dissolved in the water, which is easily removed in the form of sludge.
The systems are equipped with all the certificates necessary such as PZH and UDT and are manufactured in factories certified under the ISO 9000 standard.
- AS-IR 50-120 with an output of up to 2 m3/h
- AS-IR 140-730 with an output exceeding 2 m3 /h
These systems are applicable everywhere, where an output exceeding 2 m3/h is required.
• UV STERILIZERS
UV sterilizers for water – Sterilight use the energy from ultraviolet radiation to destroy microbiological impurities. This method is applied in households, laboratories, restaurants, hospitals, industrial factories, hotels.

Sterilight neutralizes all known pathogenic micro-organisms with a certain degree of dependability. Gastro-intestinal viruses, viral dysentery, viral hepatitis and influenza, salmonella, cysts Giardia lamblia and Cryptosporidium, all of them perish under a radiation dose of at least 10 mJ /cm2. At the same time the Sterilight lamps ensure radiation doses of at least 30 mJ /cm2.
• CINTROPUR FILTERS WITH CENTRIFUGAL MECHANICAL PRE-FILTRATION
The filters of the Cintropur NW series use the principle of a centrifugal spin to remove mechanical admixtures from the water. As result of the centrifugal force applied large admixture particles fall within the body of the filter and deposit on its bottom. The depositions are removed by opening the drainage valve located at the lower end of the body of the filter. Small particles are filtered by a cartridge with filtration range of 5 microns, 10 microns, 25 microns or 100 microns (replaceable) and 150 microns or 300 microns for multiple uses.
